Dohrma

Dohrma is a modernised rendition of the classic Othello typeface, conceived by Morris Fuller Benton in 1964. Its slender and bold letterforms seamlessly marry curves with straight lines, making it a prime choice for captivating designs spanning books, packaging, posters, and film credits. This typeface is particularly suited to large display scenarios that need to grab attention. It pays tribute to the original Othello while offering a contemporary twist for design versatility.
The font includes four distinctive styles: Black, Outline, Soft, and Grit, with over 550 characters per style. OpenType features include case-sensitive forms, localised forms, standard ligatures, alternate N, Y, a, j, r, t, and y, and language support covering Western, Southern, and Central Europe.
