FAQ

What is a Desktop License?
A Desktop License allows you to use the font on your desktop computer for creating print materials such as brochures, posters, business cards, logos, and other graphic designs. It is licensed for one user on up to 5 computers within the same network.

Can I use the font in a logo with a Desktop License?
Yes, you can use the font in a logo for general business purposes under the Desktop License. However, if you intend to register the logo as a trademark, you’ll need a Logo License.

Can I modify or resell the font?
No. Fonts may not be altered or redistributed without permission.

Can I share the font with my clients?
Clients who need to edit or reuse the font must hold their own licence.

What is a web license?
A web licence allows you to embed a font on your website using @font-face, so visitors see the correct typeface when viewing your pages online.

It covers one domain (including its subdomains) and lets you host the font files on your own server — there’s no renewal required. Pricing is based on your site’s monthly page views.

What is a logo license?
A logo licence gives you permission to use a font to create a custom word-mark or registered logo.

Once you’ve converted the font into artwork (for example, outlined text in Illustrator), this licence allows the resulting logo to be used across all media — including print, digital, packaging, advertising, and broadcast.

Does my Adobe Fonts subscription cover Canva?
No. Adobe Fonts covers Adobe applications only. Uploading fonts to Canva requires a direct licence.

Can I use one Canva licence for multiple clients?
No. Each brand or project needs its own Canva upload licence.

Can my client access the fonts in Canva?
Yes — as long as the templates remain inside a single Canva account.
